Hallo,

sinds 2007 zetel ik als jongste raadslid in de gemeenteraad van Kortenberg. Na vijf jaar studie klinische psychologie, ben ik in 2009 begonnen aan een masteropleiding Strategische Communicatie aan de KU Leuven. Binnen Groen! werk ik samen met Hans Coppens aan de uitbouw van een kennisnetwerk rond netpolitiek. Via Groen!WEB ondersteunen we Groen! mandatarissen en lokale groepen bij het uitbouwen van een eigen website en coachen we hen op het vlak van social media en politieke communicatie op het internet. Sinds oktober 2010 werk ik voor Groen! als webmaster van groen.be en social media redacteur.

Hello,

in 2007, I became the youngest city councilor in the town of Kortenberg, Belgium. Elected for the Flemish Green Party, Groen!, I soon started working with fellow Greens to support and extend our online presence. Today, the Groen!WEB network already covers over 100 local chapters. I set up the national Groen! Twitter account and manage the national Facebook page. On a European level, I’m working with the European Green Party supporters network to set up a social media presence and work out a communication strategy. Currently, I’m doing a master’s degree in Strategic Communications at the University of Leuven, Belgium.
